Quick & Easy Guide for How to Edit a WordPress Page
So you have a new WordPress website and now you want to edit the content on the page. Here you’ll find a quick guide to editing content on a wordpress page that uses the Fusion Page Builder.
1. Once you’ve logged into your WordPress Dashboard – Click Pages
…and in case you’ve forgotten how to login: yourwebsitename.com/wp-admin
Ex: Marina.com/gate-repair (In this instance, the page name will be “gate repair”)
3. When the page opens, be patient and give your Fusion Options a moment to load so you can edit your WordPress page. Once all items have populated onto the page. Scroll down to the area on your page that you would like to edit. Hover mouse over the box and click the pencil icon button to edit.
Note: Be sure to click the pencil icon of your content box and not the pencil icon of the layout header box it sits inside.
Note: Your content is saved but your page is not saved yet.
Note: Now check your work. Click View Page at the top of your dashboard and look at your site live. If at anytime you do not see your changed, refresh your browser. If you still do not see changes, go back into the dashboard of your page to make sure you first saved the content box. If you’re content box was saved, click the UPDATE button again (you may have lost internet conncetion in your process to edit)
